Maker Faire UK is a family friendly celebration of invention, creation and crafts, bringing together over 300 inventors and engineers from across the globe. The two day event attracts people from around the UK and from further afield. 

The School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering had a stand at the event and CANDO were invited to show off the work of the Engineers.  Our Clean Room Fabrication Technician, Rachael Savidis, took along the optrode demonstration box and talked to people about the project and the engineering challenges of the project.
