Operating Theatre are a North East based company that provide bespoke theatrical experiences that can transform the way people think about health and well being.
The new film Deep Mind has been developed by Operating Theatre in response to the CANDO project. It was originally meant to be performed at Alphabetti Theatre, Newcastle upon Tyne and at Ushaw Historic House, Chapel and Gardens, Durham in March 2020 but was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Thanks to additional funding from the Catherine Cookson Foundation, Operating Theatre have joined together with Meerkat Films to film the show. The film is available to watch online. A range of resources to support further engagement with the topics raised by the film has been created and can be accessed here. If you are part of a group that may be interested in having an online workshop around the film, please contact the project here.
